Thinkingcap Press Release
Thinkingcap announces support for Microsoft SQL Server
21st April, 2004
Effective 1st May 2004 Thinkingcap will support Microsoft SQL Server,
continuing its commitment to integrate with leading software providers.
This adds to the list of data platforms already supported by Thinkingcap
which currently includes Oracle, Sybase, MySQL and Postgres.
"A number of our clients have both Java and Microsoft solutions
already in place and Thinkingcap support for SQL Server helps our
clients integrate and leverage these existing systems," said
Bimal Shah, the head of Research and Design. "The Thinkingcap
platform can run against any number of separate data sources and
types simultaneously allowing for powerful integration opportunities.
This is especially powerful where existing databases are already
in place but haven't been fully integrated with other systems. Furthermore,
switching data sources is effortless requiring no code changes."
Support for SQL Server further enhances Thinkingcaps ability to
deliver enterprise-scalable solutions at competitive price-points.
