Rod Dowler
Rod Dowler, the Chief Executive, has wide experience of technology
companies and management consultancy. He worked initially
as a software developer and then spent a number of years in
management consultancy. While a partner at KPMG, he led the
KPMG European High Technology Practice. Rod is also a director
of Technology Consulting, a business-focussed City management
consultancy that he founded after leaving KPMG. He specialises
in negotiating IT contracts and outsourcing deals. Rod joined
Thinkingcap Technology as CEO in to help obtain VC funding
and position the company for growth. Rod holds an MA in Physics
from Oxford University. Why did Rod join Thinkingcap? Because,
he says, ' It is simply the most promising approach to business
solutions that I have seen'.

Bimal Shah
Bimal Shah, a founder and co-patent holder of the Thinkingcap
intellectual property, heads research and design. Before joining
Thinkingcap Technology, he was Global Head of the Financial
Data Group for D. E. Shaw & Co., an American investment
bank specializing in statistical arbitrage and computational
trading. In that role, he managed a world-wide group, including
a large software development team in India. Before that, he
was a manager in the Technology and Integration Services Division
at Accenture, where he worked as the technical architect on
such high profile projects as the regulatory system of the
London Stock Exchange. He is experienced in delivering software
solutions to high specifications and under tight commercial
pressures. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Physics & Computer
Science from the University of London.

David Romano-Critchley
David Romano-Critchley, the Chief Technical Officer, is a
founder and co-patent holder of the core Thinkingcap intellectual
property. After working as a research fellow in computer science
at the University of London, he joined D. E. Shaw Securities
as a senior developer in the Financial Operations Group. There
he was involved in developing and implementing the latest
back-office technologies. He has worked on many other commercial
projects including a large telecoms project for the European
Union. He attended the University of London and holds BSc
and PhD degrees in Physics & Computer Science.

Chris Cussons
Chris Cussons, Chief Financial Officer. Chris is an FCA who
has successfully raised money for a number of start-up companies
and has acted as Financial Director for some of these. Currently
he is working with a young e-commerce and smartcard solutions
consultancy and, as the Financial Director and a shareholder
in that business, negotiated a funding and trade investment
package valuing the new business at £12m. For Thinkingcap
Technology he managed an EIS round of investment and second
stage financing.

Tristram Graham
Tristram Graham heads client technical support. He is a software
consultant with experience as a developer, architect, analyst
and trouble-shooter. Tristram has a background in engineering
and design with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial
College, London plus over 10 years' experience across a wide
range of technologies and platforms. He has worked primarily
on high-end enterprise software systems from bank trading
systems to application server software at the architectural
level. Tristram joined Thinkingcap 'because it seemed more
ambitious than many of the dotcom companies'. He has worked
on the core product on the GUI aspects and on major client
projects.

Jason McFall
Jason McFall heads client project services. He is a software
consultant who specialises in client solutions. He has extensive
experience as a software developer and architect. His background
is in particle physics having worked for seven years within
large international research organisations. Jason has a first
class degree in Physics from Imperial College, London and
a Doctorate from Oxford University. Before joining Thinkingcap,
Jason worked for a media distribution company on streaming
media applications. He met the Thinkingcap team while working
for a client and joined Thinkingcap because he 'relishes finding
elegant techniques for solving problems'. He has worked on
the core Thinkingcap product and on some major client projects
including an innovative web-crawler application that selects
keywords from websites. This type of technology is the basis
of 'paid search' a fast-growing segment of the search engine
market.
